Questions
How much does Eventbrite charge?
In the US, Eventbrite charges a service fee of 3.7% + $1.79 per paid ticket and a 2.9% payment processing fee per order. Buyers pay them by default, or the organizer absorbs them. Free events cost nothing.
Who pays the fees?
On Eventbrite the buyer does by default, so a $25 ticket costs your fan $28.52. On Stage your fan pays $25, and your card processor takes its rate from that, as it would at your door.
Is Stage really free?
Stage adds no ticket fees on any plan. The Free plan covers 2 events a month. Pro, for unlimited events, is free for life for accounts made before the end of December 2026. Your payment processor charges its usual card rate, paid to them, not to Stage.
When do I get paid?
On your processor’s schedule, not Stage’s. The money goes straight into your Square or Stripe account, and they pay it out to your bank as they always do.
I run more than 2 events a month. What does that cost?
Pro covers unlimited events. It is free for life for accounts made before the end of December 2026, and it adds no ticket fees either.
Can I move my events from Eventbrite to Stage?
Yes. Make a page for each upcoming event from its poster, connect Square or Stripe, and share your new link. Tickets already sold on Eventbrite stay valid there.
No ticket fees. Really.
Pro is free for life for accounts made before the end of December 2026.
